The Meeting of the Minds is a free, annual event for gifted and talented students in Years 5-8. The half-day Aquarium visit is packed with fun activities designed to challenge clever kids, as well as get them meeting and mixing with like-minded students from other schools.
Students have the option of completing an extra research challenge as well, creating a project for an entry for the Jock McKenzie Award. The Award is named after the late Massey University science education adviser who had a lot of contact with local schools.
The Meeting of the Minds will be on the 3rd and 10th of June 2020. Up to 10 students per school are invited to attend and space is limited.
