Endangered to Extinct - Moa and Kiwi

What made the Kiwi endangered and the Moa extinct? What makes them birds? Close observation of a life sized Moa skeleton and stuffed kiwi will engage students with our special New Zealand birds of the past and present, their adaptations and the influences that have caused their endangered to extinct status.
