National Aquarium of New Zealand Visit Checklist

• Decide the purpose of your visit and select an education programme.
• Make a booking with our Education Officer.
• Arrange transport.
• Collect permission forms and trip money.
• Arrange adult helpers.
• Brief students and adults about the trip (purpose of the visit, time allowed, tasks to do during the visit, standard of behaviour expected). A copy of 'A Guide for Parent Helpers' could be given to each adult helper.
• Download and teach pre-visit activities relevant to your programme from this website.
  print out and supply all students with a copy of the relevant Aquarium worksheet (Year 5 students and above).
• Enjoy your visit to the Aquarium.
